well after a dry spell of losing my creative mojo, I finally got back in the seat and finished some bits. One of these was the Alt mode for Skyfire. This was a really lucky find, a Buzz Light-year toy that scaled perfectly. I had to add a bit of plasticard detail to bring it into character, but I'm really pleased with the results. Finding a scale robot mode of Skyfire was lucky, but finding a transformed mode for him was really lucky!
Here are Starscream and Skyfire, who's chasing who? They're so fast it's hard to tell.
Ultra Magnus also got his vehicle mode tonight and wasted no time showing it off. A bit like Skyfire, when I found a good Magnus figure in scale, I didn't really think I'd ever have a vehicle mode for him.
I'm going to try a find Alt modes for as many of my creations as possible now, after all they're not called Transformers for nothing.
I'm actually looking forward to painting up the various vehicles for the Autobots, I have quite a few in the painting qué. It will make a nice change painting something a bit different.
