This is a photo I took a while back now but I like the scale of it, the sand coloured shields represent the deserts of the east where the Legion was stationed.
Great big Gaulic Giants of men with their large full size oval Caesarian scutums and early helms. :) And they fight for the east in Syria! hehehe What's not to like? ;)
