At the moment I have 4x16 javelin men, I plan to turn two of these units back into War band. The reason being is I want at least three units of slingers, so I'm trying to limit the amount of forward units on the field. Also I need to produce a lot more cavalry but with my new found love for dipping, this won't be a problem.
A fearsome bunch. Reminds me of the opening scene in Ridley scott's 'Gladiator'!
ReplyDeleteDipping technique seems to have served them well too (despite many folks' reservations of the method). Have just started using it myself and found it quite satisfactory, especially when faced with large amounts to paint and restricted time.
