I discovered this again in an old sketch book, I created these years ago, might be of use to someone out there painting up German tribes. They are all made up but would look effective I think in a war band.
My Anceint Germans are still waiting to be painted, another peak in the lead mountain. Great figures though, got to love those Foundry Germans.
I think these were how I found your blog. I was researching patterns for my dba army. That was a long time ago.

ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely used some ideas. The biggest problem I had was trying to find out which colour dyes they had. I also wonder about the paint etc. how would they colour a shield so the rain didn't wash it straight off?
