WAB is No More.

Tired and exhausted, the old champion of the ancients finally loses his way and falls to the blades of younger men. The crowd groans with disbelief but everybody knows the old champ has been off his game for years. His demise comes as no real surprise to the old veterans of the games.

WAB is dead...Let the games begin.

Sad news, but a great cartoon. I guess Impetus is just outside the pic frame.:-)

Nah, I reckon Impetus is the unarmoured guy in the background with two spears sticking out of him!!!

Agree though, great cartoon and some sad news. Remember WH was a lot more than WAB, lots of great books over the years.

Excellent cartoon! :-D I was searching to find DBA and I wasn't disappointed...not just defeated but actually chopped to bits!

I meant Impetus is still another contender very fit and still fighting in the ring and not down and out.;-)

Must confess that I did always like WAB. It brought the fun back into ancient gaming for me. It's only in the last couple of years that I wanted something more, and for me Hail Caesar came at just the right time - the fun of WAB but with better command and control rules. Your cartoon still made me laugh though! :-)
