I have a couple of units to finish for an update coming Hobbit game. These new bases consist of a couple more Dwarf and man bases. Also a box of the new Oathmark heavy Orcs arrived.
I always like to add some sort of shoulder cover to these figures, be it a cloak or cowl. Orcs are great fun to do because their equipment can be really shoddy gear.
The Dwarves of the Iron hills and marched for days and so carry a lot of what they need on their backs. To really help with the look of the army I've added some bed rolls and packs to their backs. Using the skills I learnt on the Cybertron project, I used bits of plastic to add details.
Bed rolls and broomsticks.
Belt pouches and a small blanket roll.
Some heavy Orcs get some love with furs and leather cowls.
These new Orcs look good, the moulding seems to be more crisp than in earlier boxes.
A dragon standard gets a swirly tail, this will be of red hair.
It's been a long road to the Lonely mountain but these tough fighters are ready on a moments notice.
