Games Day

Had another great gaming day with the Rupert's Blew Coats club. The next battle in our WWII campaign. The results of last seasons game having a direct effect on the forces used in this battle.
A quite incredible piece of model making was placed as the centre piece. It's the cruiser from the last game of Cruel seas, only this time recreated in 28mm by Richard Brown. An amazing piece of work with lovely details, I'm sure it will feature in more future games.

The British landing parties had to certain tasks to do. However, the Germans fought hard and the Brits were stopped in all but one of them, killing a German commander.

The rules used were the One hour skirmish set, an enjoyable and fast moving card based game.

I also took along my newly sprayed Cybertron scenary. It was great to see it being used and put to the test. The working doors were a big success. It fits 28mm figures very well.
