Going for a slightly darker wash of Dip tonight. Above is another before and after shot.
This time around I stuck the riders on their mounts before I Dipped them, it worked a lot better and now they will be dry at the same time. Although the horses had been painted and shaded using enamels and oil paint, they took the Dip well. I dipped the brush into the top of the can where the solution is thinnest so there wasn’t too much shade on the brush. This worked great because it varnished them without changing their colours.
