WIP on Elf Conversation

I couldn’t wait for the new Victrix Normans so I grabbed one from Conquest miniatures instead. I’m not sure if the quality is the same but I just had to get started. The shield arm is attached to the Norman shield which is a pain but so far so good. Gloves and cloak next... but he is already looking good with the feather on the helmet.

 Influence from Victor Ambrus.
A Oathmark Elf with Saxon spear arm from Gripping Beast. Again feather helps to tie force together.

Yes I’ve just found out that Victor Ambrus is the guy that sketches on Time Team. I thought his name ring a bell. He is very good at knocking up quick Dark age pictures.

Very nice conversion. The good thing about Conquest Normans and Fireforge and Gripping Beast plastics, is they are all made by the same sculptor, so conversions should be a bit easier, because the poses are similar. Cheers.

Grey Green Customs Painting Services on Facebook seem to have the same idea.

Graham Green is my main influence for creating these Elves out of Normans. It’s all his fault :).
