AT-TE 15mm

I'm really excited for these walkers. Having ordered them from eBay I wasn't quite sure how big they'd be. Well, they arrived today and I was very pleased to see that they are big and chunky beasts.

Spread the love!
I'm also loving the extra detailing that these resin prints have. The toys were very good but it looks like they had to sacrifice authanticy over playability. On the toy the cockpit has to open, so the upper ball turrets were spaced out. The printed walker doesn't suffer from that.
I have to say, I'm loving the new chunky designs of the cockpits with their extra detailing.

It's clear to see the toys are slightly bigger but nothing too drastic, the customised burnt out wreck will fit perfectly with the newer versions. I think the toys are probably 20mm in scale.

The legs are going to be a bit tricky to do as each segment is separated. I may have to find a tacky glue to use as I position them on a movement base.

I think the slightly wider cockpit is a little more accurate too judging by this shot from the Bad Batch.

These armour markings are clearly shown on this Revell model kit, these are really handy for a painting guide.
