Games Day

I had another great day at the club this weekend. The main game was a Bolt action 'Arnhem' style affair. My little lad took control of the armoured relief column. The main event came when he managed to take out the King tiger tank.

Just like the real battle, the Allied tanks went off road instead of pushing forward. 

Although they failed to link up with the airborne, they caused a lot of damage and all survived.

 The King tiger tank turned to lay down fire on the bridge and in doing so, exposed it's weaker flank armour. A British Cromwell out flanked it and knocked it out with a lucky shot.
