Not don't do it. Take your really, really old models into the store and watch the confused expressions. Nothing better that obliterators on 25mm bases. The kids have not a clue what to do
So very true as well. A few years ago a mate took his old but very original GW Spacemarines and even an old Dreadnought to a Games Workshop store. He was told he could not use them at the store.
Sigh. The new models look nice but I have a whole horde of armies still not used since the start of version 6.
Ha ha I've done a whole post on that problem a few years ago. I'm afraid it hasn't changed by the sounds of it. The new stuff does look good and the sculpting has involved a lot since I collected my force back in the Eighties...
Now though I just watch GW from afar, tutting every now and then and shaking my head. I still find them very useful for brushes and paints so it's not all bad.
