I have been going solo for aboutique a year now, due to family commitments on club night. Funnily enough, although I don't play any actual games outside of the holidays, I've actually got more stuff done than before!
I dunno. I've had some very fun games solo. You can take your time with setting up a good looking table and really enjoy the unfolding story/spectacle a few turns a night
I leave a wee game up on a small table and come back and forth to it as l wish. If l get bored with it l can just take it down and do something else. Solo gaming can be fun and challenging too.
Don't get me wrong there are loads of aspects of the hobby which are really rewarding. I think I need to wait a few more years for my little boy to be old enough so I can leave out a game mid play.

Rangers of shadow deep has put life into my wargaming beyond painting and the biannual wargame. I definitely recommend it.
Sad but true......
I live so long ago, but I do not lose hope. :)
You and me both

Hang in there another wargamer might be just around the corner and if not enjoy the journey that the hobby gives in other aspects.
