Gildor's First Company

 The first company of Gildor is based up and awaits some flock.

I decided to give the first company the new shields based on those from the films. They look quite fancy.

Here is a Wood Elf from Black tree Design. You can see the leather loin guards that I took my inspiration from.

The new shields look great and funny enough the printing lines actually look like wood grain.

A couple of grey coloured garments help to mark this unit out as belonging to Gildor.

A lot of the greenstuff sculpting won't be seen, but I'll know it's there that's the main thing.

Another printed shield from eBay. This one has been influenced by the Wood elves from the latest Hobbit films. Who knows one day I might get round to doing a unit with these.

Here you can my attempt at the leather leaf armour. Hopefully it should tie the plastic and metal ranges together.
