Sir Herbert Jackson’s Regiment of Foote

This regiment is based on my wife’s old surname. Diamonds had to be the emblem on the standard of course... what else, a woman’s best friend and all that.

This regiment was started ages ago and finished recently with the help of Army Painter Dip. Some of the results with the Dip I actually prefer.

My ECW regiments are made up of a single base of pike flanked by four smaller bases of shotte. I have done this to allow more flexibility in the unit. It allows some of the regiment to be stripped away to form commanded shotte using the front two bases.
