Green stuff day

I’ve been itching to use this old pencil for green stuff for ages, so decided to give it a go on this goblin. I think I will paint as a dark leather colour. I suppose it could be troll skin, so a greyish colour might be good.

This is a good effect, although I’m not quite sure what’s it meant to be... maybe troll hide or a pelt from a long dead fell thing, found at the bottom of  a crevasse. There are fouler things than orcs in the deep places of the world...

I broke out the green stuff to do a few more cuffs on a new regiment, these days though I always line up a few extra figures that can be worked on, as I always have more green stuff than needed. So these goblins got a bit of extra love.

Thanks Ian, it’s nice to be sculpting again, even if it is rather basic. Those cuffs always look too big when I make them but look okay when painted.

I'm going to have to give sculpting with green stuff a try.
